RCMC Registration in India

Who Requires it ?
The exporter must meet the following eligibility criteria for RCMC registration:
- The exporter must have an Active IEC Code
- The exporter must be able to confirm that he deals in the export and import business.
- Necessary board permission is required to be eligible for RCMC registration.
- If the specialized board isn’t available, the exporter must obtain FIEO approval.
- The exporter must be able to provide business main line declaration during RCMC registration.
Documents Required for RCMC Certificate

Step 1: Logging onto the DGFT RCMC Portal
Visit the official RCMC portal and then click on the ‘services’ tab on the homepage. Now, click on the option ‘E-RCMC’ under the ‘services’ tab. Then, click on the ‘Apply for e-RCMC’ option.
Now, you’ll be required to log into the portal to access the RCMC application form. If you have an IEC number, you automatically have a DGFT ID and password. To proceed, you must enter them.
Step 2: Filling out the RCMC Application Form on the DGFT
The RCMC application form requires you to provide essential details such as business name, address, contact details, etc. Fill in all these details correctly. Then, choose the relevant export promotion council of India and list the category of your main export products and the period for which you want your RCMC certificate to remain valid.
